FortFilm is an independent production company established by Aleksander Ødegård July 29th 2009, and has its base in Trondheim, Norway.

Born: July 7th 1986, Trondheim.
Aleksander has specialized as an videographer, striving for perfection.
While studying Film- and Television production at Anglia Ruskin University in England, and Idefagskolen in Tønsberg, he gained knowledge and experience within a wide variety of genres like documentary, live events, commercials, short films, sports/news etc.
After completing his studies he began to work as an freelance videographer/editor for NRK (Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation) in addition to his own production company FortFilm.
FortFilm is an open minded production company that believes that variety enriches both body and soul. We therefore participate in a large variety of productions. These could be presentations, filming lectures and seminars, commercials, music videos, informative or motivational films and documentary to mention a few.
Depending on the customers requirements and needs, we can take care of the whole production from idea to completion, or just help out for parts of the production.
We shoot everything is HD, so we rely on the newly purchased Sony EX-3. This enables us to shoot in 1080i/1080p/720p.
This camera allow us to over/under crank from 1 to 60 frames per second. This option provides beautiful slow motion and time lapse recording.
In addition to the ex-3 we also have the accessories one would expect to find in an professional environment.
Sennheiser wireless microphone, Sennheiser camera microphone, Libec tripod, Adaptimax DSLR adapter that enables use of Nikon lenses for those long shots.
All of the old camera equipment got replaced just before Christmas of 2009, and this replacement/upgrade will continue throughout 2010 so that we can deliver the best images and sound, at a price that both customer and FortFilm can be satisfied with.
In post production we rely on our Mac Pro Quad core 2,66GHz with 8gb ram and Final cut studio 3.
This enables us to work with high resolution images and high quality sound, at a good pace.
From 2010 we will also provide still photography.
We use the new Canon 7D with a variety of lenses.
